Elizabeth Jane Hurley is an English actress and model who became known as a girlfriend of Hugh Grant in the 1990s. As of 1994, Hugh Grant was the center of global media attention because of the box office boom of his film Four Weddings and a Funeral Hurley accompanied him to the film's Los Angeles premiere in a plunging black Versace gown that was secured with the gold safety pins, which earned immediate media attention. The highlight of Hurley's professional life has been her association with the cosmetics company Estee Lauder. Hurley began her modeling gig at the Estee-Lauder company in the year she turned 29 years old. Since then, the company has used Hurley as a model for their products specifically for perfumes such as Sensuous Intuitions as well as Pleasures. Her best known cinematic work was when she played Vanessa Kensington in Mike Myers the hit spy comedy International Man of Mystery (1997) as well as Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999). Hurley is now a model and the designer of the eponymous Beachwear Line. Many critics accused the track as a sly reference to homosexuality and others believed that its racy depiction was meant to appeal to male fantasies. But the mixture of titillation and polished melodicism contributed to the fact that I Kissed a Girl become an instant hit in multiple countries powering the sales of her album One of the Boys (2008). Hot N Cold is a very popular track that is a second. Perry also wrote a large portion of the lyrics on the album.
